Our mission is to create a community where every cat, including community cats and feral cats, can lead a safe and happy life, regardless of their circumstances. Through our work in Madison County TNR, we are making a difference by championing the importance of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and empowering others to provide TNR resources for outdoor cats.

What is TNR?

TNR, which stands for Trap-Neuter-Return, is an effective and humane method used to control outdoor cat populations, specifically for community cats and feral cats. Madison County TNR is a vital initiative because it:

Controls the outdoor cat population by humanely preventing the continuous reproduction of cats through spaying and neutering.

Reduces nuisance behaviors in communities, including yowling, aggression, and territorial marking.

Helps to reduce the risk of disease transmission within the cat population, ensuring healthier community cats.
